The first Nintendo Switch emulator
for Android devices. Coming soon to other systems. |
THE PROJECT
There is a n64 emulator (Mega64), there is a 3DS emulator (3DSE), you can enjoy Nintendo games on your Android mobile device, all the way from the NES era, through gamecube, up to 3ds/2ds, so naturally, the next logical step is NS. Creating an emulator for a newly released console is a difficult task, and often the current hardware doesn't even allow you go play the games, even if the emulator itself works. Nintendo's new console, unlike it's previous ones, runs on an architecture standard to mobile phones, prepared in conjunction with Nvidia. Thanks to this, emulation of the console is actually an easier task than most would suspect, and games from it can already be played on many phones!
Please be wary of the emulator's limitations. Switch can be emulated as its architecture is very similiar to the one of a mobile phone. Still, the games are quite demanding, speed and compatibility depends on many aspects of your device.
